Aircraft Fam app for iPhone and iPad

The "Aircraft Fam" or Aircraft Familiarization mobile app is one of four modules out of the Fire Training Research Suite of software used to train students from around the world at the prestigious Dallas-Fort Worth Fire Training Research Center.

The module gives Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighters ("ARFF") a best in class experience in exploring aircraft inside and out. More importantly, it provides guidance to the areas of each aircraft the ARFF responders need to know.

Among many other features, this app will show how to operate doors, how landing gear retracts and where fuel tanks and cargo areas are located. Important cockpit controls are highlighted that firefighters need to know in case of emergency.
